The type of personal information we collect

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored. We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidently lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those personnel at hospitals where your procedure may be undertaken. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and the Informational Commissioner’s Office of a breach where we are legally required to.
We keep your personal information (as identified above) for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes of satisfying any healthcare, legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Generally speaking, we will keep client files (and any personal data) for a minimum period of three years following the completion of the healthcare issue for which you have sought treatment. This is to enable us to verify your identity where you may ask a question, make a complaint or claim. We will then dispose your information by shredding any hard copy documents and place in a secure bin for disposal.
We will retain any personal data obtained via our website for no longer than three years at which point it will be deleted. We have a process for deleting digital records securely.
